Episcopal Clergy can Officiate at Same-Sex Marriages -
Help us transform the Diocese of Connecticut!

TEC's General Convention Resolution C056-2009 authorized the following "bishops, particularly those in dioceses within civil jurisdictions where same-gender marriage, civil unions, or domestic partnerships are legal, may provide generous pastoral response to meet the needs of members of this Church." With a few exceptions, progress toward providing pastoral support has been measured but steady.

While the Bishop of the Diocese of Connecticut has yet to authorize Clergy of Connecticut to Officiate Same-Sex marriages Bishops of other Dioceses have moved forward promoting Integrity's goal of full inclusion of LGBT persons in the Episcopal Church and our equal access to all its rites.
